Where to scull? Like in all sports, biomechanics is the science that helps us know how to improve technique. Knowing where to place the force and where to lift a weight or push ourselves is the key to making our efforts effective! I give you a very clear example so that you can compare it later in the water:
As you see, if I want to jump up, I have to push in a straight line. If I push diagonally, I will not be able to jump so high because I am not pushing my legs under my body.
It is the same in the water (where to scull):
If I scull below the weight, my forces are useful because they push the weight up. If I scull under the nothingness, no matter how fast I scull, I will never have a dry swimming suit!
And so absolutely everything in synchro. If you push where it is, you will go higher! If you push where it is not, you will get very tired without having the desired result. It is better to waste some time analyzing where the support fails and then advancing much more!
