- The main characteristic that never fails in athletes who do it better is that the knees are right on the surface at the moment of giving the kick. For some of you it will be almost impossible to do it, and you will realize that your knees are not close to the surface, not by a long shot!
They literally have to break the water surface. And also have the feet not at 90 degrees, but near the buttocks.
- The kick has to be where you want to go, thus, do not push back because you will go a little forward and you will not achieve as much height. If you put a lot of attention in pushing towards the pool floor, totally perpendicular to the surface, you will see that you will go where you want: upwards!
